FAQ’s
Find answers to your questions about our exclusive vintage jewelry, shipping options, and how each piece is uniquely crafted to blend history with contemporary elegance.
JEWELRY:
Is all the inventory Vintage New Old Stock, and what does it mean?
All the finished jewelry I bring to the shop is unused from old warehouses, with more than 30 years. When I make a piece, I choose materials in the same condition and from the same source. I sometimes use a contemporary part to complement them when I’ve not been able of finding a vintage original, although it’s never the central part of the piece.
All information is in each listing.
Condition. Will it be perfect?
Most of the shop pieces are anywhere from 30 to 70 years old and I try to send the very best stock to ensure your happiness. With anything that old, it’s possible some items will show slight aging as for example patina in brass. Generally, people like vintage items because of this «non perfectness», it adds charm and character. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please contact me.
It's vintage, so is it a unique piece?
Some of them are unique, meaning there’s only one available. Others aren’t unique but limited since they are old stocks that did not reach the stores at the time and of which I have more than one unit. When these will be sold out, there will be no more.
Why do I define the pieces as "Fine custome jewelry"?
I choose highly detailed elements and quality components that won’t lose gloss or coatings quickly. Most of gold color pieces are gold plated or raw brass. Pearls range from acrylic to glass and natural. The crystals I use are faceted, and you will also find vintage Swarovski.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Most of the jewelry is shipped protected in a branded case which is ready to gift and with added details for making to make unwrapping a pleasant experience. If you want to make sure that it’ll be ready to gift just please let me know.
What's the difference between Antique, Vintage and contemporary?
Vintage is anything with more than 20 years. Most of the shop inventory is vintage and I skip anything 2000s and tend to use more between 60s and 80s.
Antique is over 100 years. You’ll find an specific section in the shop.
Contemporary is less than 20 years. I sometimes complement or finish a jewel with a contemporary part although it’s never the central motif of the piece.
CLOTHING
How do I make sure the garment will fit me?
All listings have the measurements of each garment and a correspondence to standard modern size based on them.
Some brands tend to make their sizes bigger or smaller, so the best way is comparing one of yours which fit to the measurements displayed.
Are there any damages on the garments or condition stated?
Garment’s condition is detailed. Most of the garments we bring are in very good condition, and we’ll if there’s any damage or signs of wear.
